Some of the definitions that you can find for the word psychic are:

1. relating to or denoting faculties or phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws, especially involving telepathy or clairvoyance.

2.  relating to the soul or mind.

3.  sensitive to nonphysical or supernatural forces and influences: marked by extraordinary or mysterious sensitivity, perception, or understanding,

There are many ways in which this word is thrown around nowadays, and I like to make a couple of distinctions of my own. While I am a Psychic Medium, I do not claim to be a "fortune teller." I will not tell you your future, when you will get married, how many children you will have, or if you will land the job you just interviewed for - I simply do not care to do that kind of work. I utilize my psychic gifts to help people change their lives, step into personal empowerment, resolve childhood trauma, identify the energetic sources of illness and injury, shift unhealthy cycles, and understand their life's purposes and trajectories. I help people come into profound authentic alignment, awaken to their soul's truths, and create the lives that they actually want to live.

I use many different methods for Psychic Arts work, including Tarot Reading, Astrology Interpretation, Scrying, Astragalomancy, Channeling, Energy Reading, Conchomancy, and other various forms of Divination. I would be considered clairvoyant, claircognizant, clairaudient, and clairsentient, and I perform Spirit Mediumship as well.

A majority of people come to me expressing that they do not know exactly what they need and share that they just need some sort of guidance to help them on their path. The idea of a shaman might not apply culture to culture and practice to practice (and the word itself has roots specifically in Siberia), but the textbook Western definition looks something like:

 a person regarded as having access to, and influence in, the world of good and evil spirits, especially among some peoples of northern Asia and North America. Typically, such people enter a trance state during a ritual, and practice divination and healing.

And the Evenki meaning of the word from Siberia translates as: one who “sees” or “penetrates to the source.” 

There are so many words and titles that we can use here for my own work, each coming with its own implications, belief systems, connotations, dogmas, and stigmas. Shaman, Medicine Man, Healer, Energy Healer, Alchemist, Wizard, Magician, Witch, Witch Doctor, Ceremonialist, and more. Call me what you wish.

My work in the "Shamanic" field covers a wide array of practices. To put it simply, I curate ceremonial and ritualistic experiences for people based on their specific needs and intentions, and it can look different for everyone. My main modalities in this realm include the involvement of plant sacraments, hands-on healing, vibrational sound therapy (sound healing), and smudging or smoke cleansing.

When someone comes to me for a Shamanic experience, or an Etheric Alignment Experience as I refer to it, it can unfold in many different ways. First, I will perform a Divination Reading for the client to understand what is going on with them energetically, physically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. The information that comes through this reading will then determine the type of Alignment Experience that is needed to bring the desired result.

This can look like a full-on Shamanic ceremony involving the serving of ancient plant sacraments (read about those here). It can also look like a relaxing Sound Bath experience where I use unique instruments and live music to facilitate a release of energy and emotions. It can be a hands-on healing experience where I utilize Energy Healing methods such as Reiki to move energy & emotions and create shifts in a person. Or maybe we will have a sacred smoke cleansing experience in which I burn various herbs, woods, and resins to move dense energy out of someone's field.

Maybe it will be all of these expressions combined into one Etheric Alignment Experience - who knows!? The point is that I allow Spirit and my understanding of the modalities that I carry to determine what kind of experience will be of the highest enrichment to a person.
